Intangible 02:32
The possibilities in this hierarchy of needs make us bleed but also make it possible for us to breathe. All I can see is the sun setting behind mountains behind trees, as it disappears we freeze. What I perceive is just the way things seem to me, the way that things can be in this reality. All the sex and drugs and war and violence that we see on TV today enter our eyes fill our minds and desensitize us to our inconvenient fate but the power of the eye in the top of the tower in the center of the panopticon also allows for agency from the bottom to hold accountable those responsible for murders in our streets, prisons, hospitals, schools, and even in our own homes. Cops and politicians have left us in the ditches is this information not tangible enough for you... as it is for me. Is it to hard to believe that the role of the police is not to protect the peace but benefit elite? to keep the cogs of this machine turning?

Automobile 02:47
My bank account's 8 dollars overdrafted. My second mortgage payment is 3 weeks late. The bankman says they don't care what happened. I have 3 dollars to my name and it's all in change. I've gotta pocket full of quarters and I can't seem to bear the weight. I've got a pocket full of quarters. I work too hard to let them push me this far. By the time I know it I'm out the door with a high caliber weapon. I used the last of my cash to put gas in the car. Tearing round the corner you can smell the burning tar. And when I get to the bank I don't bother to park I just wreck it. Oh my science would you take a look at me now. I was such a good boy but I took this path somehow, and now today I run this town. Sitting in the drivers seat ridin' in an automobile with the windows down. Ridin' in an automobile.

By the time I was fourteen I knew what all of these words mean: pescatarian, ovatarian, vegetarian, and vegan. It came as no surprise that I would recognize these forms of oppression when a year before I'd realized I was an anarchist and I never believed in god. I crossed my heart and hoped to die, when I decided that it wasn't right to consume other animals and related parts. But my self righteous perceived as objective morality caused nothing but broken hearts. It did so much harm... but we got over it. And within the next year I'd combat my depression and fear by organizing with those I would build life long relationships with. And through our shared struggle in this campaign for human rights and dignity in solidarity with campesinos in the fields of Immokalee it was plain to see. There's a priority in eliminating oppressions off which we feed, and human suffering is at the top of the hierarchy. Itchin' inside of my own skin, stuffed with angst and bustin' at the seams. I'd no idea where to begin what did'ya expect I was just six or seventeen. I left that privilege behind put it out of mind when I left my home out on my own I spent time on the streets with punks, hippies, and boozers, and when you're hungry and broke and you've nothin' to eat and someone offers you meat beggars can't be choosers. How do you tell your abuelita you know it's been so long pero no puedo comer tus fajitas, menudo, caldo de res, tamales, y barbacoa our ancestors way of life is immoral and so is our culture. And I'm right because white privileged vegans told me so. And in the end this often acculminates through self righteous attitude to create a hero in ego's image of self. And he truth is that our western concept of veganism like our society's unsustainable it's a product of our guilt and our wealth, it's subtly violent and nothing more than a privilege. By the time I was 21 I knew all these words: Flexitarian, Jason's Delitarian, and Freegan. It came as no surprise that I would recognize these forms of oppression when 7 years before I'd realized I was an anarchist and I still don't believe in god. And now we've come unto this rift of ideals and our worlds seem to fall apart. The differences in our ideas don't stem from the nature within our hearts. We all just wanna make the world, a better place, then when we started.

Business 02:10
I walk this dusty road as fast as I can run it. I don't know how much longer now but he will be coming and I can't run forever. I can't run forever someday it'll catch up to me. He watches my every step yet it's not so much that he wants me dead. As a matter of fact I'm sure, he could care less it's business as usual I'm soon to be 6 feet underground. It's business as usual, pump me full of lead and revel at the sound. Lookin' back over my shoulder at the devil, he's gainin' ground. I' m only 6 feet ahead, and he just wants the price on my head. I can't run forever, Someday It'll catch up to me. It's business as usual, Someday it'll catch up to me. to me.

Manifest 04:28
We'll get picked up in an escalade, we'll have it made. We'll get picked up in limo and all our friends will be inside drinkin' champagne, smokin' blunts. We'll get picked up in a high class tour bus and inside there will be a gourmet international buffet. I'll manifest an escalade, we'll leave this place. I'll manifest a limo, and all our friends will be inside I'll manifest an escalade we'll leave this place in style and we'll get paid better yet get laid. I am a fucking god I have control over everything. I manifest things, I am the master of reality. You too can be magical like me just close your eyes and see what you want to see. So go to sleep and you too can be the god you can only be in your dreams where I can kill you silently. We'll get picked up in a hummer. We'll escape the heat of this summer. You'll get to drive this bad motherfucker. I'll get to man the turret and be the machine gunner. We'll fuck shit up and in our escape I'll manifest a military cargo plane full of weapons and cocaine, flown by the CIA we'll jump ship and blow the bitch away. I'll manifest an escalade, I'll have it made.

Humans 03:00
Humans, oh how we like to push things around. Just take a look around your town. The concrete beneath our feet. The essence off which we feed. The skyscrapers and other amazing feats. Were not here before other folks like you and me decided they wanted something more in the lives which they were born It's a struggle to the top and to top it off to make it in this world you gotta be tough. Nobody's gonna help you, you're gonna die alone and if that's not enough. Hard work and perseverance alone rarely pays off, and if that's all you got then you're outta luck. Cause our roles in life can be preconceived and while you wear your entitlement on your sleeves. Our genitalia, skin, and bank accounts can be constraining. Those who are benefiting from the status quo will claim to know nothing of the privilege that they sow. So there's nothing I can say that won't be ignored. But rather than pickin' up and headin' out that door. I'll draw my vicious weapon, choosin' the pen and not the sword. Because to kill the man, is to disrupt the plan, but not the demand. For every ten you'd kill, there's a hundred more just waitin' for the opportunity to knock at the door. they're takin' matters into their own hands lord if we don't do the same we're gonna lose the war.

Goin' home where singin' always seemed so wrong. The monument around the corner has pressure flaked cracks in its marble walls set in place by Henry Miller who in 1954 when it was just built had a case in this courthouse with the oil field company. They refused to pay his workers compensation and through his frustration he would build a bomb. Nobody knows what went wrong maybe he did it to get back at the judges and cops who would lend support to the companies side allowin' them to hang'em out to dry, to die. I've had this feelin' so damn long, that's the reason I'm singin' this song. They're tryin' to maintain the illusion that nothings wrong but it's hard to hide our history from us when the truth is lurking like a bomb. like a bomb.

Greed 03:05
Miles of farmland set on fire but the seeds can travel faster then the flames. They tore it all down to lay asphalt to put up another shitty department store. Cancerous fumes spill from their towers, spread across the globe and form into greed. Everyone wants a piece of the American dream. Too much money too much power. No amount of toys will ever make them happy the poor want more, well so do the rich. So they come up with trickle down economics. CEO's are the job creators letting go of workers to go on vacation. A house in several countries. 3 cars in each garage. With their money hidden free from tax all the hard work is put on the laborers backs. So tear it down plant a seed. If revolution is what we need. Tear it down plant a seed. Whatever happened to a planet that was green, does it even mean anything anymore or is it just another marketing scheme. Cause greed is green. It doesn't mean anything when multinational companies use our plight to quench their own greed.

It's not irrational, I just can't put it to words. The art of pulling out the thorns so it feels good while it hurts. 48 hours spent outside a truck stop in Houston. It's hell in Texas, the heat blisters my skin. Spent one too many drunk nights with Lone Wolf by my side. Though he seemed strong and fearless I could tell by the look in his eye; he was as troubled as me. Stuck outside OK city the KD and 3.2 alcohol allowed us just enough room to breath. My monotonous life races. I get down I make mistakes and I gotta find the time to leave it all behind. New people, new places. I'm bad with names but I'm good with faces. I'll remember yours if you remember mine. Arizona brush blazes fumes into the wind. Across the desert I'll come back home again. Dries my lips and my throat, New Mexico. A glowing citrus sun descends into the smoke. My monotonous life races. I get down I make mistakes and I gotta find the time to leave it all behind. New people, new places. I'm bad with names but I'm good with faces. I'll remember yours if you remember mine. My eyes tear at the beauty of rocky mountains and the trees. I simply can't conceive how one lives life behind a screen. Crossing state lines again, familiar faces and new friends. As we round the bend I lift my head and we ascend. It's something I expected but never quite like this. I feel so fucking small how did I ever feel so big. When I was a kid, things were so different. Crossing State lines again from Colorado to Oregon. Over the mountains, I'll come back home again. Camped out in ant city hallucinating on the moon of Endor the empire's at a tree stump waiting. San Francisco cigarette trees the chillin' pacific breeze on a bus I'm homeward bound and I'm drinkin' My monotonous life races. I get down I make mistakes and I gotta find the time to leave it all behind. New people, new places. I'm bad with names but I'm good with faces. I'll remember yours if you remember mine.
